Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, graduates, researchers, and companies, the Foundation awards annual scholarships each year to support outstanding master’s students at the Strasbourg Faculty of Chemistry. Based on financial and academic criteria, these scholarships help young people facing financial hardship who have demonstrated excellent academic performance at a crucial stage in their lives.

I have always been passionate about the natural sciences, and chemistry quickly became my favorite subject. Despite life’s challenges and the loss of one of my parents, I found the strength to persevere thanks to my family’s support.
In 2018, I began studying chemical engineering at the Franco-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), but I realized that my true passion lay in pure chemistry. In 2021, I enrolled at the University of Strasbourg to pursue this path. While working night shifts to pay for my studies, I managed to maintain good grades and finished my first year of my master’s program with a GPA of 15.
I am honored to receive the Jean-Marie Lehn Foundation scholarship. This invaluable support not only allows me to focus fully on my studies without financial worries, but it also gives me great self-confidence. Knowing that I am supported by a renowned institution strengthens my determination to pursue my passion for chemistry and contribute to scientific advancements.
