Funding through Philanthropy

The Jean-Marie Lehn Foundation raises funds from companies and individuals who are committed to the development of the University of Strasbourg and who wish to accelerate medical and environmental discoveries through chemistry.

These donations can be used to fund a research program conducted by your team, the purchase of equipment, or any other expenses related to your research activities. In addition to financial support, companies can also donate equipment, supplies, or software through the Foundation (in-kind donations).

Recognized as a public-benefit organization, the Jean-Marie Lehn Foundation issues tax receipts and enables corporate and individual donors to receive tax benefits.

Who is eligible to apply for calls for proposals?

The Jean-Marie Lehn Foundation comprises a network of selected researchers, approved by the Scientific Advisory Board and endorsed by the Board of Directors. Annual calls for proposals are open to researchers in this network, as well as to researchers who wish to join it.
