Scholarships for Master’s degrees in Chemistry

Thanks to the generosity of former students of the university, researchers and businesses, every year, the Foundation awards grants to support high-achieving students at the start of their master’s degree. The means-tested grants are awarded to excellent candidates and applications can be renewed to continue into the second year, for an amount of up to 5000 euros.

Integrated, innovative supramolecular nanowires

Researchers at the ISIS Nanochemistry Laboratory and Nanostructures Laboratory (CNRS/University of Strasbourg), in collaboration with the University of Nova Gorica (Slovenia) have outlined a general, versatile approach for integrating supramolecular nanowires into a new nanomesh network.

Increasingly sophisticated complex systems

Jean-François Lutz, head of the Precision Macromolecular Chemistry Laboratory and Jean-Marie Lehn, head of the Supramolecular Chemistry Laboratory, are trying to understand the cause and effect relationship between the molecular structure of very simple macromolecules and their supramolecular self-organisation into very complicated assemblies.
