Build & Connect: a community unique in France focused on materials and sustainable construction.

 The 5th edition of the Build & Connect international conference, organized by Pôle Fibres Energivie and the University of Strasbourg, will be held in November 2022 in Strasbourg. For 48 hours, Strasbourg will be the European capital of sustainable construction. More than 600 professionals and academics will gather to discuss sustainable construction and make significant strides toward addressing energy and climate challenges.

In addition to the symposium, a new digital community platform will facilitate networking, as well as the exchange and sharing of thematic content.

A unique opportunity to discuss cutting-edge technologies and practices with European industry leaders.

Located in the heart of Europe, Strasbourg is an ideal setting for fostering cross-border exchanges among professionals. This helps forge an essential link between all stakeholders in the construction industry and the region. Participants from France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and Luxembourg will thus be able to exchange ideas and discuss three key themes:

The Foundation for Chemistry Research has been a partner of the event since 2018, alongside the Pôle Fibres Energivie, providing sponsorship. The foundation supports the Strasbourg chemistry research cluster in the fields of materials, sustainable development, and health.
